2013 season preparation meeting at the club 7pm

On Saturday 16th March The Scottish Coastal Rowing Association is hosting a Ceilidh and Dance onboard the MV Glenlee in Glasgow. This is to help fund the World St. Ayles Skiff Championships in Ullapool this summer. If you wish to be included on the Guest List please email or call Adam Graham. (secretary@rwsabc.com or 07818 018221).

The draw was made on Tuesday night during a Sub-Committee meeting in the Clubhouse.
The results are as follows:

Norman Grant – £ 37.50
Iain Craig – £ 22.00
Ewen Chisholm – £ 12.50

The Scottish Coastal Rowing Association is pleased to announce that a British Rowing run and UK Coaching Council approved course for Fixed Seat Rowing Coaches will be run at Royal West in Greenock in April. The Official Course notice is attached to this message, the application form will be emailed to those who express an interest.

The Association is eager to see a good geographical spread of coaches so every club should consider this opportunity.

Please note that as we have to confirm numbers to British Rowing later this month we need forms and deposits in by 20th February.

The Club is able to offer members a choice of two First Aid courses in March of this year at a greatly reduced cost.
The courses on offer are –

 Emergency First Aid at Work – 1 Day
 HSE First Aid at Work – 3 Days

Both courses will be held within the Clubhouse and the 3 day course will be held over two weekends. Exact dates will be confirmed when we have exact numbers.
Numbers are limited to 12 only for each course. If there is sufficient interest more courses can be organised.


Emergency First Aid at Work – £25.00
HSE First Aid at Work – £50.00 – £60.00 (dependant on numbers)
