We have received a request from one of the other Clyde based coastal rowing clubs for assistance with fundraising they are doing for a clubhouse/boatshed.

Members are asked to visit the website below and vote for their cause, before the end of the week.

We will be racing at Troon on 6th June. Contact Ian Clark if you want to participate in this regatta.

This is an evening of live music from various local musicians from Glasgow and the Inverclyde area. Admission is free but we will be looking to raise funds for the charities by selling raffle prizes and putting round the hat for those who wish to put in a small donation.

Many of the musician performing on the night will be club members.

Why not come along and enjoy the music amongst friends and support and the club and the MS and Diabetes UK charities.

Donation of raffle prizes will be most welcome.

Social Convenor

The results are as follows:

1st – John Taylor
2nd – Rose Sloan
3rd – Iain Craig

Draw was made by Helen & Peggy in the bar on Friday evening

Please be aware that a work party has started work refinishing the Ladies Changing Rooms internally.

Over the last few months we have been drying out the space internally with heaters and a dehumidifier, last weekend the internal walls and ceiling were prepared for painting and this weekend the painting will take place.

The ladies are asked to leave on any heaters or dehumidifiers they find turned on when they are using the changing rooms. As the lockers are going to be removed, can anyone with personal items in these please remove them, the same goes for all personal items within the building.

The external surface of the roof is about to be resealed and we are also about to install new heaters on timers, as well as permanently installing the dehumidifier.
