Next month’s planned Whisky Tasting Night has been twinned with the May Movie Night to bring you an evening we hope you will enjoy, even if you don’t remember it the next day.

The evening will commence at 7pm with an informative talk and sampling of Scotland’s favourite drink. Book your attendance at this by placing your name on the list on the noticeboard and/or paying (£12/head) at the bar.

The evening’s entertainment will continue after the talk, at about 9:30pm, with the rwsABC Movie Night Presentation of a whisky themed Scottish movie from the last decade (not the 80′ this time). Free admission to this event, but you might have to bring a chair!!!

If you arrive early for the movie please make your way quietly into the bar and refresh yourself while awaiting the end of the talk.

There will be more info and promotion of both events in the coming weeks.

Willie has organised the event this year and we should all meet by 11am for departure at 11:30am. We are heading to the Creggan Inn at Kilcreggan to mark the start of the season.

Before we head off we will acknowledge the kind gift of the new Boathouse from Ogilvie Homes with a small ceremony. You can all have a look through it and “marvel at its wonder”.

See you Saturday morning.

Following the AGM setting new subscription levels last week the renewal forms are in the process of being issued by email, post and will be available in the clubhouse.
