There is an opportunity for impromptu performances by some of the gathered company during dinner of haggis, neeps & tatties. Then we will be entertained by a number of performances from members and guests.

The evening will end with the showing of a complimentary movie, that may have something to do with the weather over the northern suburbs of Edinburgh, and is likely to result in impromptu singing by the gathered company.

The Inverclyde Bothy (at Gourock Station) in conjunction with Paths For All are starting up a Wednesday evening Health Walk starting at 7:00pm every Wednesday evening from RWSABC. This Health Walk is open to all and it is free. The walk shouldn’t last for more than 60 minutes and afterwards you are invited for a cuppa in the Club. The trained walk leaders taking the walk will be Joe Heffernan and Lee Trotter (both Boat Club members). During the dark winter nights the walk will be up and back down The Esplanade. We evenings become more light different routes will be explored. We should have a walk every week irrespective of weather unless there are icy conditions when the walk is likely to be cancelled.
