Just a quick update on the Pool Sessions for Feb-Mar 2014.
Sessions will start on Wednesday 12th Feb and run through until Wednesday 2nd April (eight weeks). They will be between 20.30 – 21.30. The cost will be £ 20/head for the eight sessions. Paul would like anyone interested to attend a meeting tomorrow evening, Tuesday 4th Feb, at 20.00 in the Boat Club to arrange cleaning the boats and arranging transportation of them to the Waterfront. Also a general discussion about the coming season. He appreciates this is short notice but it has taken longer than anticipated with negotiations.
Hopefully most of you can make it as it would give him a chance to meet those of you he haven’t met and vice versa. If you cannot make it then please email him to confirm your intention to participate in the Pool Sessions on canoeing@rwsabc.com.
Inverclyde Leisure has insisted that we must have coaches with PVG/Disclosures supervising if we have Juniors in attendance. At the moment we cannot guarantee this, however we are endeavouring to get the attendance of some professional SCA instructors at some of the sessions and this may allow us the opportunity to include Juniors on some evenings.
