Over the next few weeks & months there are a number of events happening in or about the club, below is a draft list for the members to look through. The first event is is planned for this weekend and we would appreciate as much help with it as possible.
Sat 21st May (08:00). Final concrete application to the slipway extension. Wheelbarrows and shovels gladly accepted
Saturday 28th May. Chippy McNish attending regatta in Anstruther, three crews entered
Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th June. Whiteforeland on a cruise of Loch Eck
Saturday 4th June. Second skiff named & launched
Saturday 11th June. RGYC Raft Race. They are looking for entries.
Saturday 11th June. Chippy McNish attending Port Seton Regatta
Sunday 12th June. Chippy McNish attending Scottish Rowing Champs at Strathclyde Park
Thursday 16th June. Next club committee meeting @ 19:00
Friday 17th – Sunday 19th June. Chippy McNish and second skiff attending Dalriada Festival Regatta on the Antrim coast
Sunday 26th June. One skiff attending South Queensferry Regatta
Saturday 2nd July. Both skiffs may be used to run a regatta at the Comet Festival in Port Glasgow
Saturday 9th July. Royal West Regatta
Sunday 10th July. Club cruise to the Tall Ships Event at the Great Harbour
Saturday 30th July. Portobello Regatta, both skiffs and a Jollyboat may attend
Friday 12th – Sunday 14th August. Ullapool Regatta, both skiffs may attend
Saturday 27th August. North Berwick Regatta. One skiff will attend.
