For the first time in about five years one of the Club’s Jollyboats was “afloat” this evening for a short time.

Sprite was lifted down and launched to check how watertight she is, ahead of a decision about entering her in the Nith Raid from Glencaple to Whitesands in Dumfries. The 6 mile race is being run on the 27th September and is open to a number of classes of fixed seat rowing boats.
