This title above might sound like the start to children’s adventure story, but to one member it is more of a love story.
Past VP Norman Campbell set himself the task earlier this year of getting one of the Sixteens usable, having achieved that he then decided to do a second one. The results of his hours of labour can be seen in the Racing Shed. Not only did he get the two boats ready but he also repaired and adjusted sculls to suit them.

The thanks of the Committee and all members of the Club go to Norman for his work in repairing these boats and, in doing so, extending the heritage of this Club.
