On Tuesday night two crews made up of Wanderers Rugby players competed against each other over a 4k course in front of the club. Both boats were coxed by Royal West members, club rowing coach Jim Ford in Birdie Bowers and his son Calum coxing Chippy McNish. This was planned as a charity fund raising event by the Rugby club. The race was very close up to the line but eventually won by the crew of Chippy McNish… I’m sure there will be a re-match
