SUMMARY:RWSABC Special General Meeting - Thursday\, 29 January 7:00 pm
DESCRIPTION:A Special General Meeting of the Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club will take place\, on Thursday. 29 January March starting at 7:00 pm in the Club House. The Club House will open at 6:30 pm for those who wish to arrive early. Printed copies of papers for the SGM will be available. \nThe purpose of the SGM is to approve the accounts for the financial years: \n1 February 2023 to 31 January 2024\n1 February 2024 to 31 January 2025 \nWhile accounts had been presented for the above financial years at previous AGMs these were not independently verified in accordance with the Constitution. Independently verified accounts can now be presented. \nAt previous AGMs budgets and subscriptions were approved. However\, for the sake of completeness the membership will also be asked to approve retrospectively the budgets and subscriptions for the 2024/25 and 2025/26 financial years. \nThe agenda for the SGM is shown below. \nThe Committee will be sending out the SGM papers to all members nearer the time for the SGM. \nApologies should be sent via email to secretary ‘at’ rwsabc.com . \nAs you arrive at the Club there will be an Attendance Register. Please record your name and membership type on this register as you arrive. \nThe Committee encourages all members to attend the SGM. To be quorate 15 members must be in attendance. If the SGM is not quorate it will have to be rescheduled.
