Several members of the Boat Club are also members of Green Tangerine.  Green Tangerine was started in 2022, by a group of environmentally-conscious locals, looking to spread awareness and encourage change, while supporting the ongoing activities of Literati Guide to Inverclyde. Our experienced network of local volunteers give their time and effort to help keep our activities running regularly.

They will be using the Club to host a Free screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing at 7.30pm, on Thursday 8th October

With food prices rising, come along to watch the film and discuss how a plant-rich diet can save money, have health benefits and is better for the planet.

The People’s Emergency Briefing is a 45 minute documentary hosted by Chris Packham. The film brings together several UK scientists explaining changes we’re seeing in weather, food systems and the cost of living, and how these might affect everyday life in the UK.

Booking is essential due to limited availability. To reserve your free seat, email us chat@GreenTangerine.org.uk or scan the top QR code on the poster shown below’ .
