Below is the content of an email received today from the centre where our Subs Convener Rose Sloan has been volunteering in Kenya. It is thanking us for the donation sent out with Rose following the fundraising event she organized in the clubhouse.
Rose will be back in the first few weeks of the New Year
Dear Adam,
Greetings from Kericho. Rose passed on your very generous donation from you and all her other friends at the boat club. When I got it changed to Kenya shillings it was Ksh.194,310. That was so very good of you. I will make sure it is put to good use help the very needy children we work with. I am sure Rose will fill you in on all her adventures. She has been an absolute godsend to us – particularly to me! We will all miss her very much when she returns to Scotland.
So, Adam, on behalf of all of us at Live With Hope Centre, I assure you of our prayers for you and your families. God bless you abundantly.
