Bard at the Boat Club 2023 – Information on this event
In 2020 the Committee organised the first of the Bard at the Boat Club events. In 2023 this event will return on the evening of Saturday, 28 January!
This is an alternative Burns’ Night. There will be pipes, there will be haggis, there will be readings of Burns’ Poetry and there will be singing.
This will be a ticketed event with tickets going on sale Saturday, 14th January. Tickets will be available from behind the Bar during opening times. Tickets which will include a meal and entertainment and will cost £15 per person.
On the 14th and 15th January, Members will be limited to purchasing a maximum of 4 tickets each. From Tuesday, 17th January there will be no limit on the number of tickets that a Member may purchase.
The meal will be haggis, tatties and neeps followed by short bread, tablet, tea or coffee. There will be a vegetarian haggis option available and please indicate this is what you want when purchasing your tickets.
