On Saturday, 7 August 2021 the Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club (RWSABC) held their annual Coastal Rowing Regatta. This event was attended by 7 different rowing clubs. Royal West members provided home baking for the event. Proceeds from the sale of home baking to those at the event

The funeral of Honorary member, Murdo Munro will take place at 12 noon on Monday, 30 August in Greenock cermatorium. The funeral cortege will pass RWSABC at 11.30hrs where those who wish to pay their respects can gather. The club flag will be lowered. Family flowers only are requested but
Closing Cruise 2021 – Saturday 2 October (Weather Dependent) The RWSABC Closing Cruise of 2021 will take place on Saturday, 2 October. The time has not yet been set. This event is weather dependent. Further updates will be provided as we get closer to the date.
As COVID Restrictions have moved beyond Level 0 it is now possible to have events that involve indoor singing. Therefore, the Boat Club Sessions will be restarting on Friday, 27 August at 8:00pm in the Hall of the Royal West. The Boat Club Sessions are an opportunity for local performers
On Sunday 22nd August from 3pm to 7pm there will be another Boat Club Session on the Beach. Various Boat Club Session performers will be along to share their songs and playing. Members and Guests are invited. If you would like to perform please contact George Carson, RWSABC Social Convener
On 9 August Scotland moved beyond Level 0 in the 5 Level Scheme. There are now very few restrictions on Water Sports at the Royal West. You should still: practice good hand and respiratory hygiene not come down to the Club to participate in water sports if you feel unwell
