The November Boat Club Session on Friday was attended by 20+ performers, making for a lively session. Saturday was the brilliant 10 Gallon Bratz, performing to a full house. The Club was the venue today for the final assessments of two new rowing coaches from Portsoy & Port Seton. Also

This is the same night as the Council Fireworks Display in the Battery Park. Please bear this in mind if intending popping back to the clubhouse for a drink with the kids.
On the penultimate competitive outing by the Club, a rowing squad of nine attended the Nith Navigation Race with Chippy McNish and Sprite. Sprite is one of the Club’s three Jollyboats. There were six boats in the race from five clubs (Royal West, N. Berwick, N. Queensferry, Troon & Carrick).
As you may know, a number of hardy explorers left the Club beach on Sunday morning to find the source of the River Leven. They all returned safely later that day, although a pack of “wild” animals did eat Alex’s lunch. Click on this link to see a large collection
