Daft Day to celebrate the Jubilee happens on Saturday 9 July 1 to 4pm

The Royal West Daft Day is an opportunity for all Club Members to come along and try all the sports on offer at the Club. Also, we wish to use this day to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. We aim to make this a family friendly day with activities for all ages. This in not an open day but do bring along family even if they are not Members. The event will start at 1pm and finish at 4pm

The sports available will be:

  • Kayaking
  • Canoeing
  • Sailing
  • Stand Up Paddle Board (the club now has 5 stand up paddle boards)
  • Rowing
  • Swimming
  • Snorkelling (provide your own snorkel)
  • Possible rides in the Club Rib

This day is about having fun and maybe trying a new sport. Come prepared to get wet and dressed for the conditions. The weather forecast is looking kind with dry conditions and light winds forecast.

For children we plan to have:

  • Games
  • A treasure hunt

We also expect to have a barbeque serving burgers and hot dogs.

We hope all Club Members will come along to share in our community and enjoy themselves.
