The Club approved work to the roof at the AGM in March 2023. In order to draw up plans and submit an application to the Council a survey is required.
This survey will be undertaken using a drone. This is preferable from both a safety and a wear and tear point of view compared to putting a person on the roof to do the survey.
The survey is likely to take place on a weekday of the week commencing Monday 23 October. The survey should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. The survey is weather-dependent, the exact date is not yet known.
The drone is registered with the Civil Aviation Authority and will be flown in accordance with current guidelines. The drone will always remain within the curtilage of the Club and won’t encroach on any 3rd party’s privacy. The survey will be in accordance with all legal requirements.
