A brief review of club watersports based activity in the last week shows a busy and active club.
Monday – 15 juniors paddling, 16 senior paddling
Tuesday – senior paddlers out training
Wednesday – 9 dinghies out racing, 6 juniors rowing, ladies & men’s crews rowing
Thursday – Slip extension poured
Friday – Fire Brigade squad introduced to rowing at the club
Sunday – Rowing squad for Dalriada Festival Regatta in Antrim training, youth squad from Gourock HS training
During a race start exercise against the Gourock HS youth squad Alex Paterson managed to snap a pairs oar, see below.
