On Sunday 12 June 2011, some new members of the Kayaking section of the Club, accompanied by coaches and more experienced members, went out on a trip across the Clyde to Kilcreggan (with a small detour East) and back. Conditions were calm, with a slight breeze developing on the return. Excitement was provided momentarily by the wake produced by a passing tug. The moral of the story is – when in doubt, keep paddling!
Everyone proved themselves to be promising seafarers and enjoyed the outing.
