Members and the public are invited to this event. The restrictions on this event for safety are:
You should be a competent swimmer to participate in this event. You should also confirm with your doctor that you can participate if you have an underlying health condition.
A responsible adult should accompany and swim with anyone under the age of 16 who is participating in this New Year’s Day swim.
We will open the changing rooms at the Club.
It is recommended that you bring the following if participating:
Swim costume or wetsuit,
Bath robe or similar to wear before and after your swim,
Swim cap or woolly hat to swim in,
Flip flops or sandals for walking to and from the sandy beach,
A towel to dry off with after your swim,
Plenty of warm clothes to change into after your swim
Everyone is invited to come into the Hall for hot drinks and biscuits after their swim
