Around 50 dippers and swimmers showed up the the 2022 New Year’s Day Dip and Swim at the Boat Club. The above is a group photo taken just before the swimmers entered the water at 2pm. The conditions were dry and the water was calm. Most people stayed in the water for between 5 and 10 minutes. The water temperature was recorded as 10 degC.
Thanks to all who took part! Next year it’s hoped we can have the changing rooms open and invite everyone into the Club afterwards for a hot drink and snack.
