It is with sadness that we intimate the death of Alex Workman. Alex was a kayaker and joined the club in 2011.
In recent years he wasn’t able to get on the water as often as he would have wished but he was still a frequent visitor to various club events as he was an accomplished photographer. Many of his photographs remain on the Club website.
Alex’s funeral will take place on Monday, 4 April. The funeral cortege will leave the Esplanade around 10.40 to be at the crematorium for 11 thereafter to the Albany. The family would be pleased if some members could attend both the funeral and the wake.
