In keeping with past years, RWSABC will be laying a wreath at the Cenotaph in the Wellpark in memory of members who died in the first world war and subsequent conflicts.
All members are invited to meet in Wellpark Mid Kirk at 10.40am for the annual remembrance service. This service is attended by the council and local groups and is intended for those of any or no religion. We will then walk to the Wellpark where the wreath will be laid in turn with other organisations. If members prefer to attend this event only then it would be recommended that they arrive no later than 12.30am.
Some of the stories relating to members who died during the first world war will be available on the notice board in the coming two weeks.
