Road Diversion Saturday 23 October – Boat Club inaccessible by vehicle

Due to an event taking place in Battery Park on Saturday, 23 October the Esplanade in front of the Club will be closed between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. 

Notice is hereby given that under Section 16a of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, use of the following road by the undernoted classes of vehicle will be restricted for a period of time. Name of Road: Esplanade, Greenock Limits: From junction with North Street to junction with Eldon Street Type of Restriction: Road Closure Period of Restriction: From: To: 0800hrs Saturday 23rd September 2023 1700hrs Saturday 23rd September 2023 Reason for Restriction: Recovery Walk Scotland Classes of Vehicles Prohibited: All except vehicles being used in an emergency for Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance, Coastguard purposes, or Buses associated with the event.
