As instructed by the Committee, in accordance with Clause 11.2 (a) of the RWSABC Constitution, a Special General Meeting is called for Wednesday, 31 May 2023 at 7:00pm in the RWSABC Clubhouse.
The Agenda for this Special General Meeting is as follows:
1) Vice President’s Welcome
2) Apologies
3) An update from the Committee concerning the following proposal made at the RWSABC Annual General Meeting held on 23 March 2023.
That the annual accounts be accepted as presented subject to an audit being carried out in terms of the Constitution within ninety days of this AGM and if this results in an adverse Audit statement then the general Membership should be informed immediately.

a) Vote on the motion – The RWSABC Committee are instructed to spend what is required to undertake an audit of the 2022-23 accounts. Vote Yes if you approve of this expenditure, vote No if you do not approve of this expenditure.
If the above motion passes move to Item 5 on the agenda if the above motion fails move to item 4. b)
b) Approve the RWSABC Accounts for the financial year ending 31 January 2023.
5) The Committee proposes that the following be added as part ‘j’ of Section 23 Interpretation of the RWSABC Constitution
j) ‘audited’ means independently examined, ‘Auditor’ means Independent Examiner
A special General Meeting for deliberating and voting on this proposal shall take place after 21 days and within 42 days of this Special General Meeting.
6) Set date for a subsequent Special General Meeting.
