As well as all the wonderful Club Regalia available for Christmas Gifts, this year we have a special item to offer for auction.
Earlier in the year Mrs.S Black of Skelmorlie donated these cufflinks asking that they be used to raise funds for the Club. Her late husband, John Black, had owned them. He, or his father Stuart Black, was a member of the Club approx. 50-60 years ago. John Black was a sailmaker in Gourock & Sandbank, a descendent of Thomas Black who established Blacks of Greenock in 1861.
There will be a sheet behind the bar from tomorrow night onto which you can add your bid. Bidding will close at 5pm on Sunday 23rd December, the winning bidder will be contacted by phone and can collect them thereafter.
Due to the very rare nature of these cufflinks we would ask that the opening bid is at least £ 50.00.
