SportScotland appeal for support

Hi everyone

*** Great news alert! ***

We’re delighted to share that the Community Sport Hubs project is in the running for a National Lottery Award 2015!

From over 600 Lottery-funded projects across the UK, Community Sport Hubs has been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Best Sport Project.’

We are so pleased that the spotlight will be shone on hubs and the great work you are all doing to develop sport in your local areas.

Winners are chosen by public vote via the Lottery website, and voting closes at midnight on 29th July.

What to do now:

• Please vote online at and encourage all your clubs, coaches, parents and members to do the same!
• Feel free to use the banners attached across any websites or social media you control.
• Please tweet, post and share messages and ask followers to do the same – and of course ask them to vote! Use the hashtags #csh #givesportyourvote and #NLAwards
• Collect posters from me at the hub officers day on 1st July to share with your clubs.
• Email/phone me with any examples of the great work you are doing right now, which might help us create some further media profile while voting is open.

On the website you will see the various other projects that have been shortlisted, and the competition is fierce as you might expect. We need your support and the support of all your networks!

Looking forward to seeing you at our meeting on 1st July, and please feel free to come and chat to me about any ideas you have for promotion of this.

A big thank you to everyone for your contribution and well done on this fantastic achievement.
