The following events will be taking place in July.
Saturday, 8 July 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm – RWSABC Daft Day
This is a day where all Members of the Club are invited to try all the sports on offer at the Club. This is a day for meeting other Members and trying out sports new to you. There will be an opportunity to paddle, SUP, row, sail and swim. There will be a barbeque so that you can get something to eat.
Sunday, 9 July 5:00 pm for 5:30 entry into the water – Open Social Swim at Royal West
Members and the public are invited to a Social Swim. One must be able to swim to participate. For those under 16 years of age, parental/guardian permission is required.
Swimmers tend to swim between 5 and 15 minutes at these social swims. This is an excellent opportunity for those new to open water swimming to give it a try in a supportive and encouraging environment.
The Club will open their changing rooms to participants. Everyone attending is invited into the Club after the swim for a free hot drink.
Saturday, 15 July 7:00 pm – 70’s & 80’s Disco
The well-loved 70’s & 80’s Disco returns. This is a ticketed event. The disco will kick off at 8 pm. Tickets will cost £10 per person and a cold finger buffet will be served. Tickets can be purchased at the Bar.
Friday, 28 July 8:00 pm – Boat Club Sessions
The Boat Club Sessions is a monthly musical event where musicians come to Royal West to play and perform. The Boat Club Sessions take place on the last Friday of every month except for December. The music starts at 8 pm. Members, their guests, and the public are invited to attend.
