Closing Cruise 2023 – Saturday 23 October Meet at 10:00 am at the Club
The RWSABC Closing Cruise is an opportunity for all the kayaking, rowing and sailing Members to come together to celebrate the end of the season.
All Sporting Members are invited to come down on Saturday, 23 September at 10am. A decision concerning where to go will be taken on the day and is dependent on conditions.
In past years, some destinations have been Rosneath or Meikleross Bay. At Rosneath participants have visited the Bar at the Caravan site for lunch.
Low tide on the 23rd is at 12 noon in Greenock.
Please note: – The Esplanade between North Street and Eldon Street will be closed as will North Street from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, 23 September for an event in Battery Park beginning at 11:00 am. You can find more information on this closure using THIS LINK
Boat Club Sessions – Last Friday of each month except December
The Boat Club Sessions is a monthly musical event where musicians come to Royal West to play and perform. The Boat Club Sessions take place on the last Friday of every month except for December. The music starts at 8 pm. Members, their guests, and the public are invited to attend.
In addition, some of the musicians involved in the Live Boat Club Sessions at the Royal West have an online presence on a Public Facebook Page called Boat Club Sessions (Online Version). If you are on Facebook, give this Page a follow to keep abreast of their activities.
The upcoming dates for Boat Club sessions in 2023 are 27 October, and 24 November.

Movie Night possibly followed by Halloween Disco – Saturday, 28 October: 7:00 pm for Movie Night, If it occurs the Disco will commence at 9:00 pm

RWSABC Christmas Fayre – Saturday, 18 November 10:00am to 2:00pm
RWSABC members will be selling crafts, baked goods, tea and coffee to raise Club funds. Local artists and craftspeople will also be present to sell their own Christmas Goods.
