Captain of Boats Alex Paterson is organising an overnight Club trip to Lochgoilhead on Saturday 11th August (conditions permitting). We have recently been donated this beautiful 16ft double skull by the Sutherland’s of Killcregan, the history of this boat is quite impressive, It was built by a lady called Liz Todrick, she had gone on holiday with the Sutherland’s to Erajarvi in Finland where they rowed a similar boat.

A group of the Club’s Juniors have decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK. On Saturday 2nd June 2012 they are going to row one of the Club’s St Ayles Skiffs over the 1 mile course being used that day for the Club’s regatta. They are going to do
