The poster below provides information on an upcoming training course. The purpose of the course is to provide instruction on watching for whales, dolphins and porpoises. The reason for collecting this data to protect these animals. No previous experience or equipment is required. Training will take place either in person

On the evening of 12 August the Alec Galloway stained-glass window was unveiled. This window commemorates the 150 years of history at the Club between it’s founding in 1866 to 2016. The unveiling was carried out by the Lord Lieutenant of Renfrewshire Peter McCarthy.

Some kayakers are organising a trip to Erskine Bridge on Saturday, 25 June 2022. High tide at Greenock on that date is at 10:43am and low tide is at 4:21pm. This event is being organised by Willie Bell, Colin Campbell and Forbes Scott. This trip is for all competent paddlers

On Saturday, 21 May starting from 11am there will be Scottish Coastal Rowing in St. Ayles Skiffs along the Esplanade. The prize giving is expected to be around 4pm. The races consists of multiple skiffs doing a straight line sprint of around 500m along the Esplanade. The races will start
