At our regatta on 9th July we are running 9 events in the new St Ayles Skiffs and 3 events in our Pairs. If anyone knows of a business, group or individual who may be interested in sponsoring an event please let Adam Graham know. There will be prospectus available
30/05/11 Crews from the club attended St. Ayles RC Regatta in Anstruther over last weekend. Seven members made up three crews, competing in the Men’s Open, Women’s 35+ and Mixed Open events. Considering this was Royal West’s first regatta with Chippy McNish the three second places we achieved was a fantastic result. Full results

Over the next few weeks & months there are a number of events happening in or about the club, below is a draft list for the members to look through. The first event is is planned for this weekend and we would appreciate as much help with it as possible.
All members and guests are invited to attend and take part in a “Come & Try” event at the club this Saturday afternoon. Activities will commence about 2pm, High Water is at about 3pm. Rowing and kayaking sessions will be available and there may also be some sailing. The club’s
Royal West crews are starting to form for the racing season about to start within the Scottish Coastal Rowing Association clubs. The first event the club plans to attend is the St. Ayles RC regatta in Anstruther on 28th-29th May, entries need to be in by Sunday 15th May, please
A brief review of club watersports based activity in the last week shows a busy and active club. Monday – 15 juniors paddling, 16 senior paddling Tuesday – senior paddlers out training Wednesday – 9 dinghies out racing, 6 juniors rowing, ladies & men’s crews rowing Thursday – Slip extension
Monday 18th April was publicised as the first full evening of the 2011 kayak season and what a start. Five new junior paddlers took to the water with eleven juniors returning from last year, they were joined by fifteen adults and coaches making the total turnout on the evening 31
Following attendance on a residential course in Wales last September, then practical assessment at Royal West yesterday two of the club rowing coaches, Ian Clark & Adam Graham, have been awarded UK Coaching Council Level 2 Certificates for Fixed Seat Rowing.
